Beli and Bereginyas

Beli are malevolent ice-sprites that harass and befuddle people of snowy climates with their icy arrows. Thriving in the cold, with the freezing air rapidly healing their wounds, they are nearly fearless as long as the temperature is below freezing, confident that they can outlast anyone who dares object to their malicious pranks. Many beli venerate cruel and vicious winter gods and such beings, empowered to cause additional trouble by their patrons. They especially enjoy disrupting feasts, stealing food (in particular special meals for events, such as holiday cakes). The main defense such communities can rile up is druids, as beli seem to have an irrational fear of druidic magic, especially those druids with animal companions, and unless forced to stay and fight by a commander of some kind they will flee and avoid druids at all costs.

Beli
2nd level archer [humanoid]
Initiative: +9
Vulnerability: Fire
Ice Dagger +6 vs. AC – 4 cold damage.
R: Icy Shortbow +8 vs. AC (one nearby enemy, or one far away enemy at -2 atk) – 7 cold damage.
Natural Even Hit: The target is also dazed (save ends).
Absorb Cold 16 and Below: When the beli is targeted by an attack that deals cold damage that rolls a natural 16 or less, the beli heals 2d4 hit points and takes no cold damage from the attack.
Arctic Hunter: Attacks against the beli from far away enemies have a -1 penalty in snowy or icy environments.
Cold Regeneration 5: While the beli is damaged and in a cold environment, it heals 5 hit points at the start of each of its turns. It can regenerate 5 times per battle. If it heals to its maximum hit points, then that use of regeneration doesn’t count against the five-use limit.
When the beli is hit by an attack that deals fire damage, it loses one use of regeneration and can’t regenerate during its next turn.
Dropping a beli to 0 hit points doesn’t kill it if it has any uses of regeneration left.
Flight.

Bereginyas are an old and cunning form of faerie. Their bodies are formed of mist, solid from the waist up and intangible below. Despite their small size they are quite vicious and dangerous, latching onto creatures that displease them and forcing tendrils of semi-solid mist into their mouth and nose, smothering them. They mostly live in high mountain ranges, but will descend down with fog and mist to explore, often coming into conflict with humanoid in the area. While they are easily aggravated and prone to attacking, they can be pacified with offerings of milk or cheese; many shepherds and goatherds near mountains that bereginyas inhabit are aware of this practice, and keep their flocks safe, in particular during lambing season.

Bereginyas Creature 4
Tiny Fey
Perception +11
Languages Aklo, Common, Sylvan
Skills Acrobatics +13, Stealth +13
Str +2, Dex +5, Con +1, Int +1, Wis +1, Cha +0
AC 21; Fort +7, Ref +13, Will +9

Speed 20 feet, fly 60 feet
Melee claw +13 (agile, finesse), Damage 2d4+4 slashing
Grasping Claws [two actions] The bereginyas makes two claw Strikes against the same target. These attacks count toward the bereginyas’ multiple attack penalty, but the multiple attack penalty doesn’t increase until it makes all its attacks. If both attacks hit, the bereginyas attaches to the target. This is similar to grabbing the creature, but the bereginyas moves with that creature rather than holding it in place. The bereginyas is flat-footed while attached.
Smother [one action] Requirement The bereginyas is attached to a creature. Effect The bereginyas attempts to force semi-solid gaseous tendrils down the creature’s throat; the creature must attempt a DC 21 Fortitude save. On a failure, the target must hold its breath as long as the bereginyas is attached to it, or suffocate.
